It's been three hundred days since I came to live in the darkness of Holdgrafer Estate, a lowly butler brand new to the dramas of Nobility. Sometimes I watch them and wonder if this is really a ring of socialites or simply a play put on by a bunch of ninth graders. Love triangles, murder plots, scandal, gossip, just general drama.... It doesn't leave you as you grow up.... In fact I think it just gets worse. In the minds of the nobles, they're definitely better than everyone else, including each other; but in truth, everyone here is just as bad as the other. They live in scandal and drama, pasts and futures latent with it. The truth is, Holdgrafer Estate has become something of a home for the washed up and rejected of the finer world, not that anyone who lives here would admit that. But maybe that's because everyone above a certain class has their head so far up their own ass that all they can see is darkness. And when all you see is darkness... it begins to corrode your mind and you begin to hold a deep distrust for just about everyone that surrounds you.
The Lord, The Lady, The Duchess, The Prince, The Queen.... They've all been ruined by this empty yet fulfilling world of twisted lies and sanity within chaos. Something just tells me that they aren't happy unless they're unhappy, and I've never seen anything to prove otherwise. If at some point someone manages to prove me wrong, I'll eat my words. But as far as I know, they're toxic, poisoning each other, and blaming all their misfortune on the innocent is how they cope with it. So here I am, stuck in the middle of all this.
And you know what they say.... Always, always blame the butler.
The roles we have are The Lady, The Prince, and The Suitor. See the main RP page for more details, ask questions in the OOC thread. For the most part these roles are very much up to you, very little in the way of guidelines. We absolutely need The Prince before we can really begin.
